"MUNSTERS" REBOOT "MOCKINGBIRD LANE" TONIGHT ON NBC
Tonight NBC will air a modern reboot of the Munsters, the best monster's show from the 1960's. The Adams Family sucks, but I'll rant about that in a future post.
I used to watch the original, I watched the reboot in the 80's/90's (The Munsters Today), and I'll watch this "special" (option of a series order should it do well in the ratings).

***This post inspired by a conversation with "Senhor Polvo" himself Uncle Richie Boy***
Sometimes a gentlemen is put in a predicament where he must defend himself but doesn't have a weapon on hand. This improvised club can be made from a newspaper (or magazine) and can definitely help in a pinch. In it's essence the Millwall Brick is just a folded up newspaper bent in half and used as a club. The magic of it is how an everyday newspaper becomes an effective weapon. This might be the only reason to continue to actually read a physical newspaper instead of reading it on a phone.
I was going to post directions, but the internet already did it for me:

BONES BRIGADE: AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY
An upcoming documentary on the crew who ruled skateboarding when I was a kid. I was too young for the Dogtown/Z-boys era, but my first "pro" skateboard was the Powell Peralta Mike McGill Skull and Snake in blue. I'm definitely looking forward to this.
Screening now in select locations (in NYC on October 17, 2012), and being released digitally/home video on November 6, 2012 (available for pre-order now).
